According to this article, it iswell established that being overweight is a risk factor for breast cancer,” and gaining weight in adulthood increases the likelihood of developing breast cancer after menopause. Diet anyone?

According to this study, “being lean as opposed to being obese has a greater protective effect against cancer.” Here’s another article.

According to a box of Mueller’s elbow macaroni, pasta is a good carb (see Wikipedia.) It apparently has a low glycemic index. That’s good. I eat a lot of pasta, and I had wondered if that might be bad for me.

Tyson Foods produces more than two billions pounds of chicken fat per year. Some people are trying to figure out how to use that for fuel. Here’s another article. Very interesting. Now if we could just figure out a use for all the human fat . . . .
