Apparently exercise is beneficial to us for many reasons. This link details many of those reasons. It is very interesting and informative. Check it out. And now there is new research that says exercise may actually build “new brain cells in a brain region linked with memory and memory loss.” That seems to be some pretty significant information. I walk for an hour per day, so hopefully I am building new brain cells, as well as making my body healthier generally. At least that’s the theory anyway.
