I suppose people have been taking Pycnogenol mainly for its antioxidant properties. Recent research suggests that Pycnogenol “lowers blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes.” That seems like pretty good news to me. I think I would talk to my doctor, though, before I started taking it for a medical condition.
